When did America or Britain last pardon a repentant sinner or give a 'dig-out' to one of their many citizens arrested abroad for trafficking in drugs and guns and children's lives? 

Forgiveness, repentance, salvation?

Even Judas could have been saved if he had repented before his death. (He died by suicide). Judas was the victim of his own contempt for that uniquely Christian missive which he did not understand,namely salvation by Works and Grace both. This is referred to in either the Letter of Peter or the Letter of John and at the Sermon on the Mount and in many other biblical stories. Salvation by grace and works is the key to all Christian thinking. (Judas probably believed like Marx and his followers many centuries afterwards that capital accumulation is the Universal Equivalent or "Moses and the prophets " ( Capital, Volume One).) America has followed in the uncharitable, overweening traditions of the Biblical Judas-other types are available- and Irish debtors of young thinkers. Note the merciless nature of the US. military,judges and politicians exhibited by the system of imprisonment represented by Guantanamo and the US Gulag Archipelago.

On the subject of salvation through good works, SOMETHING ELSE,from the Mouth of  the Master,PILGRIMS,TO BEAR IN MIND,"If someone asks for your cloak,give him your shoes as well" and "If someone asks you for a loan,do not ask for it back after you give it to him"....

AND ANOTHER of the corporal works of mercy,

"Feed the hungry". If someone asks you for money,not only give it to him but ignore nonsense from the Saint Vincent de Paul Society about what they refer to as "organised begging ".

But,I digress,where was I?

If someone asks you for food or something to eat,it is always because he is hungry or penniless.

IF YOU BELIEVE in social equity and public welfare or any sort of collectivism including the bogus collegiality of American evangelical outriders,give to charity. (Only the self-employed do not give to charity. The self-employed believe solely in the old Greek myth of eternal youth, virility and blissful days in front of the log fire on Mountain  Eagle. As any child knows, youthful days are far from blissful and parents are far from any child's youthful ideal and that is why they seek escape from the humdrum.)

The lack of Christian charity and good works from a tight-fisted architect of US debt profligacy,Ronald Reagan,a characterisation of an Irish-American apostate and Freemason

Behind a calm exterior,Reagan with his carefully modulated speech,calm delivery and unflappable manner was a man who was lost in the 1920's. He had no proper education appropriate to his mission and a meagre pre-politics acting career as a typecast Western cowboy.

He was a man who was,as noted by diplomats and politicians both,a figurehead for right-wing Flat Earthers and a consummate practical joker. He was a fear ar meisce,a man child,a man completely out of touch with reality and feared by noone apart a  few stooges around him who knew that he was a vicious backbiter. (In his munificence to the Irish and in his procurement of large investments for Ireland from corporate interests and from otherwise shrewd businessmen,we see in Reagan the true American type,the frontiersman, someone pushed into the spotlight by others.

Mercy for the captive, a missive to the courts on interim injustice 

It is advisable for officers of the court to take a sympathetic view of the client brought up in chronic poverty and the defendant lacking in basic grasp of parameters and modalities (Mc Guinness,after myself in the B.O.H of 1987-8, Political Guidance).

I say to rulers and governors and law-givers,"Be more sympathetic to the repeat offender reared in chronic poverty and nurtured in crime by the so-called Resistance, or whatever the IRA call themselves now.Try to raise the offender's eyes above the parapet, particularly the young offender and chronic shoplifter and thief,and get him to see the viewpoint of the old widow or the young or middling years slave.Always,rulers,come down like a ton of bricks on the violent offender and serialised murder gangs in our society.Have no mercy on thugs and the real criminals in gangs who set out to murder,plunder and steal."

Real criminals model themselves on the mafia and adopt the mentality and mores of those in gangs. I refer to gangs such as those dealing in contraband tobacco,drugs and laundering the proceeds of crime,foremost amongst those money launderers being Santander,Danske Bank,ABN-Amro and the Bank of America.
