Real friends and false friends. True friends ..

The secret to having friends is not to "tell their business around the whole country or to the first stranger you meet". In any serious endeavour,there are a host of obstacles and you need friends,true friends.

Who are the other types of true friends, those who you can trust not to carry stories about you.

 True friends are people who you insult that try to get you to change your mind,never people who owe you money nor people who are afraid of you , people who help you and same thing,lend you money. (Very few people help one another with a genuine and contrite heart but you will find that sort of person, what Pearse called 'The Fool', everywhere in all countries and at all stages in history and not just since public charity became the normal way of giving to needy individuals).

In my instance,real friends are mainstream Democrats, democratic socialists and armed republicans, Chinese Anglicans, Russian businessmen, Scottish nurses,lCatholic awyers and journalists,not Cliffite socialists nor amateur dramaturgs nor publicans nor people such as Dermot Morgan and Ian Lenihan.

It is when politicians and others cannot make any more roadway or money out of you that you find out if they were your real friends.You will find when money is in short supply from you,none were real friends. They were hoaxers,admirers of wealth and members of cults and sects. The same goes for charities and groups like the Vincent de Paul when a richer benefactor appears.

The remains of the day

If you are troubled by doctors and the police,you may have recourse to law and lawyers. If you are the victim of mafia-style activities organised by people such as Gerry Adams and Peter Faul and the Mc Veigh and Maguire gang,you will always have to have recourse to law.

It is then that false counsel will fly at your ears like bullets in battle to "teach you a lesson and deter others". That is how the Provos operate and their friends are police and priests.

A conscientious solicitor attracts numerous detractors. Members of your family will join in in raising a riot because of the widespread influence of mafia front men such as Colm Gildernew and Alan Flanagan.
