US social welfare provision and clerical socialism..

The US is a society dominated at all levels by what the translators of Marx's writings called "men of affairs or what are known as businessmen,that being people who go around trying to make money out of other people.

If you do not give these businessmen what they expect from you or patronise what Marx called "charitymongers",they will tie you iin knots and make your life hell. Why,so? Most charitymongers are women and they are best suited for the business of tormenting others by reason of having a violent,unstable temperament.

US socialism (or bourgeois  socialism) is located in the modern-day,capitalist dystopia which is represented by the American continent.

Are US social supports, grudgingly ordained by tight-fisted leaders and pedantic scribes, a good help and necessary safety net in times of need?

Yes. However for the US working population whose taxes pay for them there is competition from the unemployed for their jobs and attempts by employer and capitalist to lower their real wages. That latter pressure has an effect on everyone's living standards and particularly affects workers political bearing towards the poor and unemployed.

The American nightmare,capitalism in itself?

Accumulation of money and profit is the real basis of capitalism.

 That fact is the reality of modern society and the outworking of social utilitarianism which the overwhelming majority of us have to live with be we worker or poor or marginalised.

Some criticisms of  social improvements claim that US alimentary 'medicine' is sufficient. Headaches claim that there should be only financial support for women and children.

 Neither is correct.

 US welfare spending is neither too much nor too little for anyone. But the destitute and homeless who can not find living accommodation do not get a look in at the social gains of many workers since 1948.

Clerical socialism, private charity

This useful medicine for the wretchedly poor is prided by the Church this ages past,the true vine. But US bishops are part of a semi-religious chain of churches which clutches many vipers to its chest.

How,so?

There are many false witnesses and deceitful preachers drawn to opposition tin the US when the focus of their concerns should be the victims of US forces abroad.

Things being what they are,all Christians should haver close to the Catholic Church for proper moral hygiene and the greater good of people's suffering at America's fiat in poorer countries.

Social endeavour 

The Catholic Church is the only organisation with the exception of the Salvation Army which takes Christian charity seriously and practices real spiritual and material love for one's fellow man.

Is there a penal cost from bourgeois religiosity for capitalists deep pockets?

Yes. A measure of enlightened  government or clerical power leads to the suppression of political catcalling about high taxation and social welfare contributions.

 Where imperialism intervenes to claim the mantle of authority,the Catholic Church opposes its brutal and barbaric violence against the exploited.

Bear in mind one thing and consider it well,thus...

No churchman,either orthodox  or contrarian,accepts the power of the state unreservedly but, nevertheless,it is the state not clerics,who fund most public charity.

Balance is required so a resolution to the Church -State contradiction runs thus...

The Church (as Jesus said and the Church itself has always insisted) is not a worldly work but has its eyes set on the Cross. It often has to regulate public affairs and assist the wretched of the earth.

Inter-Church conflict. The (Jewish) socialists

Some socialists claim that the Catholic Church has stepped into the stead of the Pharisees to control dissent and derail world-historical change.

 The church counters that its critics are glorified Nobodys.  

Protestant schismatics and socialists and claim that the Catholic Church diverts and diffuses criticism into mindless idolatry. 

In their rejection of salvation by works,the reformed  groups object to practical Christianity and the preaching of Jesus's real message of universal humanism.

The accusations often place Catholics in an invidious position with secular Christians and socialists and the state when they are going about their charitable endeavours.

Socialists aside, resolve to give to charity because humanitarian aid can reach the poor and starving where governments cannot.

Best understood as an appeal to the nouveau riche and the money aristocracy to 'come down from your high mount (or horse) and give us a drink of water'. 

Modern times

Public charity long ago supplanted church alms but in many parts of the world there is no fixed constellation of public munificence.

The church,the true church that is,works by shaming greedy people such as big employers and,that apart, in the end it is the many poor,not the rich few who engage in charitable giving and good works.

American libertarianism and Evangelical Christianity amount to pretty much the same thing,putting man in his proper relationship of choice as regards the the State and securing basic economic independence without which modern society cannot flourish or people gain the means of survival respectively .

For its part,the Catholic Church does not store up wealth or goodwill against a stormy occasion but "lives on its turnover" like a small businessman.

Trusts, conglomerates and cartels allow large scale industries to develop and a healthy surplus to be generated whereas my data logistics -based method of lean-burn,just-in-time,supply-to-demand model leaves cashflow in a perilous state of suspended animation.
