Competition and control. The market and regulation

 There should always be competition be it local,national or international. When we think of consumer goods in all their diversity, we realise the value of choice in regards to commerce,trade and industry.

In natural monopolies such as energy, electricity and transport,we see the opposite to diversity,namely the drive for central  control created by the need for certainty.
