China in the passing lane 2001-2021. America in the passing lane 1888-1911,2022-

 China has been eating tomorrow's corn today since 1974 due to the one-child policy. It has cultivated a generation of bulldogs and 'Little Emperors" who are not prepared to get their hands dirty and who all want to be 'brain surgeons'. There is widespread social want.

America is recovering from long years of social neglect and industrial decay. Let America concentrate on domestic conditions and improving the quantity of meaningful manufacturing employment.

 Let us not have a lurch backwards into isolationism and autarchy i.e. independent economic development in relative seclusion from the world market.

 The US should set its sights on export-led growth and inward investment. Let America not try to turn the clock back to gather the 'lost (economic) chicks' of the economic diaspora under its wing to concentrate a lot of third,fourth and fifth generation industries between its two seaboards. Let it content itself with its great mission of world development.

The US could progress better by attracting factories from the comity of nations based on different designs and processes and freely export techniques whose production has outgrown the US and American market(s).

Keep up the good work.  Politicians,don't forget the people who voted for you and read the words on the "Statue". 

Democracy is the "democracy of the 99%" not a handful of wealthy parasites in casual suits who look more like retired C&W singers than legitimate businessmen that made their money by ingenuity,thrift and hard work.
